Case Study 2
Research Report on Impact of Waste Management Facilities on Groundwater
Client: Westinghouse Savannah River Company (WSRC)
The client requested a report summarizing the history and environmental effects of waste management practices at the Savannah River Site, from the site's beginning in the early 1950s. Because existing information was narrowly focused and extremely technical, they wanted the report content to include broader information and to be more readable by a general audience.
We produced Impact of Waste Management Facilities on Groundwater at the Savannah River Site, which synthesizes data from historical, scientific, technical, environmental, and public information sources in a writing style that is comprehensible by both technical and non-technical audiences.
The design of the approximately 300-page report includes
- An overview of each chapter
- Text and figures that provide readable, in-depth explanations
- Data tables
- A bibliography of nearly 100 source documents
